La Maison Clergerie Paris

With a sensitivity to design and architecture, Robert Clergerie discovered the world of shoes in 1970. He very quickly fell in love with this profession with its technical approach and trained by working for several years in Romans-sur-Isère. , French cradle of the shoe industry.

He quickly thought of creating his own brand but first preferred to acquire a historic factory in Romans-sur-Isère in 1978. It thus benefits from archives dating back to 1895 and the know-how of the best craftsmen. This heritage allows it to quickly master all stages of manufacturing, meeting its requirements.

The Clergerie brand was born in 1981, shortly followed by the opening of the first boutique at 5, rue du Cherche-Midi in Paris
